Hi,

some questions:

  • does it depend on the drawing you try to insert the block into?
  • does it depend on the file you use to insert into a drawing?
  • did you run command _AUDIT in both files, block-drawing + your current dwg?
  • Which version of AutoCAD do you have (command _ABOUT shows the exact version information)

If it is file dependent (other blocks in other drawings work well), then please upload the file and describe step by step what we need to do to reproduce the issue.

This could point to the following

1.  You need to >>clean out<< your personal temp (%temp) folder with in Windows.  You will not be able to delete everything but try to delete as many files and folders as possible.

2.  Run a repair on your Autodesk product.  Go to Windows Control Panel/Program and Features/Add & Remove Programs, locate your Autodesk product and right mouse select to uninstall/change.  Select repair when the menu comes up.

3.  You have an outdated graphics card driver or a card that's not supported.  Don't rely on Windows telling you its up-to-date.  Go directly to Windows Device Manager and locate your graphics card under dispay adapter.  Right mouse click on the card and select proprieties.  Go to the "Driver" tab and look at the driver date.

4.  Issues with Microsoft C++  --> https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-r...

5.  Issues with Microsoft Netframe https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-r...

In end try each one before moving onto the next one.
