Unable To Initialize adlm Error Code 104

This morning when booting up my Win7 Pro x64 box I received messages about running CHKDSK.  There were no errors upon shutting down last night and nothing was installed, removed or changed yesterday.  I let CHKDSK run through the motions and it found a ton of errors and edited and/or deleted this-that-and-the-other as Windows saw fit.

I have Vanilla 2013, 2014 and 2015 installed locally (not a network version).  Trying to fire up any of those versions prompt me with this adlm message.  This is evidently not the same issue that can occur after uninstalling a service pack.

What is the proper proceedure to fix this issue on all three versions?

Thanks.

Most of the existing threads regarding similar errors are dealing with

Win8 or 8.1, Inventor, or Autodesk Simulation.

None of these are used in my case.

Also, when trying to create a file in C:\Temp I get the following error:

Error 0x80070571: The disk structute is corrupted and unreadable.

Researching that now.

Suggestions on that error were to run chkdsk /f (let the PC schedule it for next boot) and let it run its course.  Did that, AutoCAD 2013, 2014, 2015 all seem to work fine now.  Also can create files in my C:\Temp folder again.

Strange.  Very strange.  Anyone with further insight on what caused this to begin with?
