Unable to add rows to table

I have a table I'm editing and can't seem to add 2 additional rows to it. I've double checked the table break property, which is set to no. I've attached the drawing so others can look at it and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Also, I noticed when I select the table, there's a black border with green corners, not sure what that is either.

Please help!

I think it has something to do with your data link.

Anyway, you can add 2 rows by selecting a cell in the top or bottom row and using Insert Below from the ribbon.

Only the top or bottom row.

Yes, that does work. However, I need 2 additional rows under index number 44. When I try to cut and paste, it doesn't do anything. Also, the data link isn't attached to an excel file. The text in the table is governed by a field with a hyperlink. Do I need to remove the field link in order add additional rows?

Yes, I don't think you can create a break in the link to place 2 rows there.

Either remove the link, or add the two rows inside the link itself.

But maybe someone else has a better idea.
