Unable to add multiple sheets in Sheetsets with File Stream

Hello,

I've been using AutoCAD for a few years now and I've encountered this issue for the first time. I am currently unable to add multiple sheets in the sheet set manager unless I have them open.

And it is also the same issue when publishing. If I don't have the sheet open, it will not be added into the list, no matter how many times I try.

I believe this might be some pathing issue since we switched from Google Drive to Drive File Stream and it started happening right after.

Please let me know if anyone else has experience this issue and if you were able to resolve it.

In the meantime, I guess I'll have to manually add each sheet. Thanks.

Yes, the only work around that we have found so far is to remove Google File Stream and install Backup and Sync.

File Stream and Sheet Sets appear to be incompatible.

I don't have a good answer yet, but I did hear back from Google on this. Here's what they said to me:

As I understand, you are asking about Google Drive for Desktop and the incompatibility with CAD files. In general, AutoCAD's heavy in nature files don't operate with cached type of files. When using Drive for Desktop in the "Stream files" syncing option - this can lead to the issues.

I suggest switching to the "Mirror files" syncing mode, found in the preferences for the application and then - Google Drive. This syncing mode is the way Backup and Sync treated the files - downloading them locally.

In terms of release information, this is our official Help Center article on the topic: https://support.google.com/a/answer/7577057

Is there any solution to this? It's almost 2022. Sheet Set manager just doesn't work with Google Drive (version 53 2021 Windows 11).

When double-clicking a .dst file in Windows explorer that's located on Google Drive, it opens AutoCad but then says it can't find the file.

When I manually navigate to the folder inside AutoCAD and open the .dst file, it appears in the Sheet Set Manager.

When I try to import a layout into this Sheet Set, the layout doesn't appear in the import list.
