Trying to model an egg tray in 3D

Hi i have recently started some 3D modelling in autocad and would like to model an egg tray. I cannot get it to work as a solid object. I need some pointers because i started with joining lines in 3D to create a model but i cant join all of the lines as polylines (only some of them will join) and therefore i cannot extrude it to make it a solid object.

Also im wondering what the best way to do model this would be.

You have to post a picture of your egg tray, but basically you draw a tray and subtract the egg, then copy and then union.

Have you tried the eggtray3d command ?
