Trouble with a Block I can't see with BEDIT.

I am trying to modify a Block (dynamic, or other) but I can't find it with BEDIT. I am hoping someone can help. If you can explain what I need to do, or where to find the information, I would appreciate it.

In this case, All I really want to do is change the color of all parts of the block to color #40. I would like to do this without redefining the block. It is in a drawing that is partially 3D (Trust me, you don't want to know) and I am not sure what will happen if started redefining things. Considering the company I am attached to, I would prefer to flatten the entire drawing.

Thank you,

HD

Looks like the block of double doors comes from a vertical program like ACA.

It has now turned into an anonymous block.

To edit this block in the BE, rightclick the block and selects "copy block definition and assign"

In the dialog that pops up, give the block a name.

Once done you can now double click the block to edit.

I found out, I should be able to use your solution, but I don't have the correct sub-division of AutoCAD, Mine is Electrical and can't do what you suggested.

But, you led me in the right direction and I will be downloading a LISP function that will help do everything you told me to do.

Thank you,

HD
