Transferring pdf to dwg

Has anyone found the best way to bring in a PDF to your drawing while keeping the drawing size small. I still want to be able to see it if sent to another computer, which the attach command does not allow. And so far my file size becomes way to large when using the import option.

Hi @Anonymous,

If you are attaching a raster-based PDF then that is what is dictating the file size. You can "optimize" or downsample the resolution of the PDF first.

If the PDF is vector based and you are using AutoCAD 2017 then use Insert>Import PDF to bring in only vector information.
