2017 WILL NOT FINISH PUBLISHING

Hello all,

When I go to publish in ACADE 2017 it will not publish. The icon on the ACADE tray says "publishing job in progress" but never come out of that state.

I have reinstalled several time over the last few weeks and the same issue each time.

step to publish:

File....publish (popup box)....add drawings....publish to: plotter named in page setup....publish.

icon on bottom of ACADE says "Publishing Job In Progress" but never changes from there.

Even trying to publish 1 drawing it never comes out of the "Publishing Job In Progress" state.

if i RT click on the project in the project manager,  then publish... plot project....select drawing...do all...ok  it works fine.

i can also print each drawing by itself if i have the drawing open.

Any ideas???

Turn off publishing in the background (in options dialog).

That worked by why cant i publish in the background now?

It always worked in ACADE 2014

You probably can. It just takes a lot of patience.  It probably assigns a very low priority and may not notify you it's done.  Since I usually publish and check, it doesn't do me any good to background plot.
