Tool Palette Refresh

Hi everyone,

I've created a tool palette that is connected to my network in our office. Everyone is connected, but for some reason when I update the palette only one other computer automatically updates. An hour has past and no one else has had their tool palette automatically update.

Any ideas?

How are you sharing the palettes? Have you seen this article from the AKN on one way to set this up in your environment?

Hey John,

I've read that article before and we used to do it that way. But I'm trying another way that I've used in the past.

Everyone has their "Tool Palettes File Locations" set to the same folder on our shared network. Out of 8 computers in my office, only 1 has updated when I made a change to the palette. He must have some type of "automatic refresh" going on that I need to add to everyone else's computer.

Hih @Anonymous,

I have done it that way too. I believe (forgive my bad memory it has been a long time) that exiting AutoCAD and then restarting would update the palettes but did not always get the groups properly.
