Here are a few electrical plan view blocks.

 

If you want other layering ( as these have defined layers ) add layers to a blank drawing and drop these in then merge the existing layers to your desired new layer.

 

I use the scalable block setup vs annotative blocks.  Granted annotative blocks have their place, a benefit of which is that the attributes would auto scale.

 

A small trade off for my work flow.

 

I hope some folks find these useful.
