TIFF as Texture on Surface

Hi,

i need to get a tiff which exactly drawn for a surface as texture on it. So i can let the buildings throw shadows on it. The tiff is kind if the basis and the shadow of the simple buildings are only for getting more 3d in it. It just has to look good from the top view. Hope you know what i mean!

Sorry for the direct question but it´s 5 am and I need this to be done 😉

As I understood
you can make solid from the tiff picture by overdraft the border of picture and extrud it
Then you can see it normal from every direction
