Hi, Im an engineering professor teaching autocad, we had this activity of drawing floor plans (from a book scanned pdf); upon checking, it seems that some of my students have 90-100% similarity even tho there were some parts that could be randomly done. Another concern is that some of those submissions who were similar have blocks initially named "A$....." in the 'insert block' ribbon, does this mean that the drawing was copied from someone else? It was not instructed to do blocks in these activity. I am mostly concerned if they simply copied from someone else and just edited the work of others.
Thanks so much

A$C******** block names are auto-generated by AutoCAD when a user copies linework and uses ctrl+shift+v to paste it as a block. This doesn't mean that the drawing was copied but it's a bit suspicious...
Thanks! I spent some time overlaying their drawings altogether and I got some to be really 100% same. Some of them actually admitted that they copied their work from someone else but others were really persistent
