Text styling on imported PDF projects

Occasionally I'll have to use a pdf and import assets into an AutoCAD project where all of the font is the wrong format. For example: the color will be wrong even after changing the properties tab settings and I've had to go into the text editor tab for each individual line of text to fix the import.  What options are there to update all of the imported text to be the right format other than having to do each line of text individually? Why is the text editor color over-riding the properties tab text settings? If the text is highlighted using text editor and the color is changed to red for example nothing happens when I try using the properties tab to change the texts color. The same can be said for the text sizing, as well as font. I'm not sure if it's because of a poor design flaw or if there's some workaround. Any input is appreciated on how to fix this issue.

"Why is the text editor color over-riding the properties tab text settings? "

Thats the powerfull feature of Mtext,

you can overrride PARTS or the whole content of Mtext content with

internal formats.

This way you can highlight a word, cursive, or use another Font, Textstyle independing.

Hello thank you for your feedback! These points you have made sound valid. I'll try the strip command and see how it goes. The PDF import feature has been a time saver in a lot of ways but editing the text after has been tedious and time consuming, especially when the default override has been to use a specific color in the text editor rather than by layer. Is it possible to default imported text color to be by layer instead of a specific color that needs to be changed manually and individually for each line of text? Maybe the strip command you outlined will fix that I'll have to try it.

@engineeringCABE4 PDFIMPORT command is very limited, you don't get that much control over text import and options. Sorry.
