Text size editing

Hi, I cannot edit any objects in a drawing for example text height, linetype scale, dimension text height, arrow head size. I can highlight and delete the value in the properties dialog box but cannot make any changes it just reverts back to the original. I have tried setting the text height to zero and turning off the override and still unable to change anything. My coworkers are not having this issue. 

Any help would be appreciated, I have a feeling this is a simple fix as it worked just fine on friday and today monday morning nothing seems to work.

Your description covers a lot more territory than your Topic wording.  What kinds of things are really included in the problem?

Locked Layer(s)?  Post a small sample drawing file?
