Text object fields not showing

Hello all,

Has anyone see this problem before? A user is trying to use a field, and when they select "Object" they don't have any options to select an object. It's not a drawing setting (happens in all drawing for this particular user) and everyone else has no issues with this process.

I'm sure it's something easy, but I have never seen it before.

Oh, yes. I'm sorry I should have included a list of things tried.

1. Restarted CAD
2. Restarted the computer
3. User had a custom workspace, so we tried the default workspace.
4. Deleted and re-imported the companies standard profile
5. Tried the default autocad profile
6. clean uninstall and reinstall of autocad.

Can't reproduce that here, but I'm not using C3D

Ask your IT to test a new profile for that user: it might be the next thing to try.

    I am not sure if this is designed in .net, but give it a try.

It's working in a different windows profile, so it's the users windows profile that is the problem.

IT is rebuilding now and should be good to go.

The user was also experiencing strange windows problems they did not tell me about.

Some users have a hard time connecting the dots... glad it helped.
