Text is not visible

Hi all,

I've just started using AutoCAD for basic geothermal well design. Now when I want to add text as a description, it doesn't show up, only the box is visible when marked. I was using qtext command and turned it off, then regen to refresh drawing, but still no change. Any ideas what is wrong?

Try to change the text size.

I see that the text height is shown as 2 and the width is nearly 6000. If you are drawing your wells to scale, the text could just be super small. Increase the text height.

I realize that the model is super tiny, so how to increase it without making everything from scratch? I assume it would be much easier just to add bigger text that will be visible afterwards

it depends on your drawing scale . either you scale elements OR make your text height readable .
