Text Field to take address info from an Xref?

Hello, I have a Cover Page and an Xref Border File that both list the same address and client info for a project. 

Is there a way to insert a Field on my Cover Page that can populate with info taken from the Xref border file? I would like to update the four text attributes in the Xref and have them update automatically yon the cover page.

You cannot pull attributes from XREF. Either insert the border file as a block in the current file, and you will be able to pull the attribute data OR see post 2.
