Hello everyone,

I used the same text style (font) called tratex font but looks differently in other computer. I could not find solution to the problem. I attached the jpg file here.

Best regards,

Shafiq

Maybe font substitution. Hard to say for sure without the file.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

The other computer does not have the font you are using: share it with them.Note:they will need to restart AutoCAD after that.

Now, do you (or they) know how to install fonts?

Is that image from a single  AutoCAD drawing, not pasted together  from different sources?  [I would have expected two  images, one each from different computers.]  If in the same drawing, they can't have the same font and look different.  It could be that they are Mtext, and the difference involves an internal font override  within the Mtext content.

is it possible that the text that is displaying correctly has been exploded?

Also if the text style is named the same on both computers but has different settings it could cause this error.

If you could share the file it could shed some light on whats going on.

I do agree with you and the issue might be font substitution. But some font e.g. MALM as shown in the attached jpg is the right font style but same font looks differently in same file. I would like to add that I sent PDF instead of DWG file.

Note.

1.I attached a copy of dwg file of the above jpg just but the original file have other drawings as well.

2. check the font MALM  which is original text and showed correctly.

It is easy:

1. You didn't created the pdf as raster data file

2. You don't added the used font to the PDF

3. One PDF reader program open the file and use a font with the same name (if available) or another one.

But if the programm haven't access to the right Fontdefinition, it can not display as expected.

Without PDF i guess the "right" Word is stored as stupid raster information in the pdf, thats why

it looks fine. The other ones are real text objects (and the pdf program have no access to the right font definition).

[Sorry, i had to edit the answer]

Hi,

This image is taken from the pdf file not dwg which I had sent to the owner. In my computer I do not have such issue with font.

Thank you @cadffm it did work well. I did not add the used font to the pdf.

This is what it should have checked during plotting.
