Text color does not change in table

Imported table from Excel. Text shows as black while in Model Space. Instead changed text in Excel to white but not paper space is wrong.

Text does color does not change at the table or cell level. Text can only be modified at text level.

Thousands of cells to modify.

when you create the datalink expand the dialog with arrow at bottom right and check box that says to pull formatting from excel. I don't trust these to work all the time, but it's worth checking on/off to see what effect it has.  And you can select all cells in a table the same as you do in excel - select a corner cell, hold shift key, select corner cell diagonal from first. then you should be able to change text formatting.

But usually when I change excel file the table formatting gets messed up and it is easiest to re-create the table.

Hi,

Whenever using external data, or images, rendered views, or true color assigned to layer or objects in CAD, it's much more easy to set the model space to have white background. Then you see what you get, independent of the data source or color type.
