Mapping graphics to a combined straight/curved structure

Does anyone know if there is a way to map an image to a straight and curved structure? I have attached a sample of my issue, my image will map fine to a straight structure however when I attempt to attach to a combined structure with the same overall area it breaks up the image

Not possible in AutoCAD, you might have mapping planar and have a plane 45° rotated in relation to your wall, but even that does not create the same result like rolling along like a wall paper.

Thank you, I was hoping there was some sort of UV map or world map like in 3DSMax but I could not find anything

There exists an UV-map, however only the types "planar", "cylindrical" and "box" are supported.

(command _MATERIALMAP)

...but no wrapping like 3DS-Max has.

AutoCAD does not have a UVW Map or UVW Map Unwrap feature as found in Max.  You could however fudge a solution in AutoCAD by dividing your shape into a series of flat and cylindrical panels then cut up the image file into a set of similarly sized images.  The individual image would then be mapped to each panel using planar or cylindrical mapping.
