Text automatically changing height without my doing.

Hello,

So in a nut shell, when I'm annotating, the text looks the size I have it set to, but as soon as I click out to continue with something else the text goes to a crazy large size. This happens both when I'm using single line and multi-line. I've tried changing the size in properties, which works, but as soon as I move something or change anything it goes back to a very large size. I've also tried doing this using the STYLE command, but it has the same result as when I change the height in properties. As far as I can tell, there is no scale factor or override causing this. Please help, this is very frustrating.

PS: I'm working in RebarCAD, if that makes a difference.

Thanks.

The smaller plans were from pdf underlays, the larger ones I scaled to actual size. I believe the example text didn't show because I didn't save it to the file. I'll keep messing with it and hopefully figure out what's wrong. Thanks for taking a look!

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I looked at your file and when it opened, I was prompted about Proxy Objects. It appears that you are using a re-bar add-in.  Can you uninstall this add-in to see if affects the text issue?  I was unable to duplicate the issue you show.

Can you try wblocking or copy/pasting your model into a new file to see if behaves normally?

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

I unfortunately cannot uninstall the add in, but when I copy and paste it into another drawing it seems to work normally.
