I’m a university student studying mechanical engineering and I’m going to be using autocad this year. The thing is I’m on a budget and I’m looking for a laptop that can get the job done. The laptop I’m looking at is an Asus VivoBook 15 x512jp with a core i7-1065G7, 8 GBs of ram and a Nvidia 330MX. Is it good enough to get the job done or just to get by? Would a ram upgrade maybe help? Thanks in advance.

More RAM is always better.
The graphics card seems to be comparable to the quadro M600M which seems sufficient, but what about the processor? Can the i7-1065G7 handle autocad?
My person experience..... I have seen laptops with core i3 giving better performance than core i5 laptops....... I think both are good unless they meet the bare minimum criteria for the specifications required to run the software......
