Where the symbol in AutoCad 2017?

Hi,

you can use them via MTEXT command - see below image - and if you edit any mtext.

EDIT:

and if you want symbols to appear from ribbon .... then your ribbon must active by RIBBON command then when you edit your mtext by double click you will notice a Text Editor will appear up there beside ribbon tabs (see below image).

Hi,

from your image status MTEXT command waiting from you to specify first corner....make mtext rectangle and continue the command then see what happened.to get successful get back to my first post and read it carefully.also make sure that your MTEXTTOOLBAR det to 1 .    

Command: MTEXTTOOLBAR
Enter new value for MTEXTTOOLBAR <1>:

Text commonly use, why hide it?

Autocad not friendly, need to remember funny coding & steps...

Enter new value for MTEXTTOOLBAR <1>

1) mtext
2) Must drag out a Text Editor (Click again other place on screen.)
3) Then, Symbols will appear from ribbon.
