Hatch Problem in dynamic Block

Hi, I'm posting this second time now in Autocad Forum. I've created Dynamic block with hatches. But after I saved the drawing and reopen hatch of the First Visibility state appearing in all other Visibility state. One thing I figured out was file format issue. When I saved the drawing in earlier than 2010 this issue happened. And Sometimes this happens even in latest file format. Please anyone help

after reviewing your block

you have 6 instances of the hatch.

it could be that you have some hatch associated to 2 different visibility states.

you may need to reorder your visibility states to find which hatch is being used in multiple visibility states.

also is the hatch meant to be annotative?

Hatch is meant to be annotative as i have to work in multiple scales. They will appear bigger for 1:50 scale. I most of time work in 1:100/1:50 scale.

Here I made a quick block this time separate hatch instances in each V. State. Same result If I save in Autocad 2007

it appears the Hatch is part of all the visibility states.

i sorted out all versions of the block.

there were multiple copies of the hatch but only the hatch with the text void shows up in all the versions

I would delete all the hatch and reassign it to only the versions which it applies.

Please have a look at my question again. I have provided 2 dwg file. One with original file and other with problem after I save in earlier version.

try fixing the block in the earlier version (where it keeps breaking ) then upgrade the block to the later version.

Did you try recreating this dynamic block in the older file version?  I have seen instances of the duplicate objects in dynamic blocks when using Visibility States. To date, I have not found that there is any direct action that has been linked to why this happens.

I have found that non-annotative hatch patterns work best in dynamic blocks. If you are using the block at known different scales then it should be easy to apply the hatch at the appropriate scales for each visibility state.

In the Elbow here I hatched in each visibility state and separate layer in every state. It worked there.

But for duct piece same problem even without annotation hatch. I don't know if am I the only one facing this issue?

I can confirm the same problem converting it back to 2007. I can also tell you where the problem is, hopefully. It is odd and probably something to do with how the software translates it back into an older version, but the first hatch you have in the block was created after the dimension was placed and used island detection causing the dimension text to create a "hole" in the hatch. For some reason this "hole" is getting transfered through onto the other hatches when it gets saved back to 2007 causing the problem. If you delete the first hatch and recreate it with island detection turned off, then saving back to 2007 works just fine. At least it does on the two visibility states you highlighted, I didn't check it with any others

Tried this block in AutoCAD 2009 with normal hatch. Worked normal for older AutoCAD but same problem if I work in Newer Autocad
