Swap between CANC and Backspace

Hi everyone, I'm running AutoCAD 2020 on Windows 10. Is there a way to swap between CANC and Backspace? I mean: I'd like to cancel objects/lines/points using the Backspace key instead of CANC.

How can I remap it?

I assume you mean <ESC> when you write "CANC"?

If so, sorry no, imho you can't redefine the <ESC> key inside of AutoCAD.

But there exists tools out there which can remap the keyboard depending on the application. Such a tool might help you.

Just take care ... what about you are inside a TEXT or MTEXT object without the <BackSpace> key!!!

Dear @Alfred.NESWADBA , I totally see your point, but I think it's way more convenient relying on a bigger key (such as backspace) to delete elements in the drawing. Don't you think?
I'm new to the Windows world, but on MacOS I was able to delete stuff using the backspace. 

Is there a way to assign that function to the program?

So "CANC" is not the <ESC> key, it's the "DEL" key on an English keyboard?

If so I can understand you, but the answer is the same, AutoCAD has nothing built in to do this. You'll need some external tool.

Dear @Alfred.NESWADBA , I have an Italian keyboard where the backspace has no label written on it. 

Italian Backspace = Backspace with no label

American Delete Square Button = Italian Canc Square Button

I'd like to delete objects in AutoCAD using the bigger backspace key. Is that possibile?

IMHO AutoCAD does not have any functionality where you can do this.
You'll need an external tool which can remap your keyboard keys.
