SubDMesh to STL

An STL file is not limited to manifold models, but AutoCAD requires a SubDMesh to be manifold; otherwise, it will not translate it. Can this not be resolved using a system variable so that all SubDMeshes can be translated?

@Ronald there is currently no system variable in AutoCAD that overrides the manifold (watertight) requirement for SubDMesh objects during STL translation. This is a design limitation, not a configurable setting. You Use other Autodesk Applications such as 3ds Max to import the DWG and then Export to STL. 3ds Max is known to manage meshes and 3D Solid
