Student License

I have a free student's license(3 year) for my AutoCAD 2015 software.

But I am currently not using the software and my license is aging and will get wasted.

I want to preserve it and get it to resume when I start using the software again.

Is it possible to do that ?

I would be grateful for any help...

It works 3 years since activated, how does it know when you decide to resume again?

Maybe there is a way to deactivate it (like facebook) and reactivate it
later.

That is what I am asking, is there a way.

Nope, I doubt it.

Join another class and get the latest maybe.

No problem.

As long as you are a student you can download the latest release for a brand new 3-yr license, so in other words, as long as you are a student you have a student license.  When you are not a student - you, of course, do not have a student license.

Any student can get it.
Like I am not enrolled in any Autocad class but am a post-graduate student.

As far as I know any student over the age of 11, but now I cannot locate that minimum age limit requirement.

And it isn't limited to just AutoCAD.

AutoCAD has a subscription setup where you can subscribe for about $200/month.  And I think they gotta deal going where it's only $99 right now.

I have a question in the same topic. I am an engineering student, accidentally I activated my student license in (AutoCAD 2020, 2019 and 2017) and (Revit 2020 and 2021) I should not start my license since i have no course about it yet. So the question is can i have a new serial number to reactivate my software or can i pause my license? I do not want to lose the software's before my courses starts.

thanks a lot.

If you are still a student when the current license expires - simply renew as student.
