Strange behavior Adobe 2 computers after creating PDF same drawing

Hello everybody,

My colleague and I have a weird problem when printing a specific dwg drawing in pdf (using standard DWG to PDF.pc3).
If I print the drawing and I open it with Adobe Reader, then I, but also other people who open this/ my drawing on another PC, immediately see the entire drawing. When my colleague prints the drawing on her computer, her image is completely white. She does notice the small view of the PDF on the left side of the Adobe window.
If other people (me also) open her drawing, they will only see a white image also.
Both her view and mine are zoomed in so that the entire drawing should be visible.

If we zoom in or zoom out on her PDF, the drawing will appear. If we now set the view back to the same zoom level as when we opened the PDF drawing, everything remains visible.

If we close Adobe and open the drawing again, this problem persists.

If she prints the drawing with, for example, PDFcreator.pc3 or another PDF plotter,  then there is no problem and everything is immediately visible on the PDF when she opens it.
If she prints another AutoCAD drawing with DWG to PDF.pc3, then there is absolutely nothing to worry about also. Even then, everything is immediately visible when she opens the PDF.

My colleague and I are using the same version of AutoCAD 2022 (version S.154.0.0 AutoCAD 2022.1.1) and also the same version of Adobe reader. This couldn't be the problem (I think).

What could be the problem here causing this? The strange thing is that this only happens with this drawing.

If she uses audit and purge everything it doesn't help.
(Purge by using the -purge command multiple times and select everything which will not be purged if you use the normal purge command like Regapps or Orphaned data)

Hello Rushabh Thakkar,

if my colleague or I create a PDF of the drawing, the PDF will print correctly. The plot settings also do not differ due to the saved/current Page Setup.
Our pdf drawings do not differ at all. So the strange thing is opening the drawing.
When I open my drawing in Adobe, I immediately see the entire drawing in my window. Adobe had to zoom it out for 37.1% to get it completely in view.

If I now open her PDF, it is completely white but, just like mine, zoomed out for 37.1%. If I now zoom in or out, the drawing becomes visible. If I now set the zoom percentage back to 37.1%, then the entire drawing is correctly displayed.

So why do you have to zoom in or out first to see the drawing of her?

If she sends her drawing to other people/companies, they think that a mistake has been made and that they have only received a blank sheet instead of a map.

perhaps you can share the 2 pdfs so we can all try and see if we experience the same.

also you may want to try different pdf viewers just to eliminate the problem may be due to the pdf viewer you're currently using.
