Does anyone know how to turn on the specify point thingy that shows when you draw lines for AutoCAD 2017?

Hi,

if i understand you right ... and if you're asking about old autocad member BLIPMODE then do :

  • first you have to redifine it :

Command: REDEFINE
Enter command name: blipmode

  • change the variable to 1 .

Command: BLIPMODE
Enter new value for BLIPMODE <0>: 1

Try pressing the F12 key and see whether that's the thingy you want. 😉

Ohhh, those thingies. You could also type in .blipmode (starting with a period) to turn it on and off.

And to wipe out the blips, use REDRAW (or R).
