Solution: show all layout tabs above the status bar

People have been trying to override the idiotic innovation of truncated layout tab display ever since they introduced the little triangles which pop up a list of layout tabs no longer shown along the bottom of the screen.  I just found the solution (again) and since they keep it so well hidden I thought I'd add it as a post.

 

Right-click the model tab. Click on the last option in the pop-up list:  dock above status bar

 

Now you have your full run of layout tabs available again.

There are actually 2 switches to set in the registry.

HKCU\...\Profiles\<CPROFILE>\StatusBar
