Solid Editing - Clean, not working

I have a 3d solid made from multiple 3d solids with Union. Although all the faces are parallel there are extra lines on the faces which I would like to remove. 

I would like to use solidedit and clean which should remove the lines. But when I do it, it just asks to select a body again and nothing happens. How can I remove the extra lines.

SolidEdit command help doc says that it can only remove shared edges with on the surface. 

But When I see your modeling, I cannot find shared edges with on the surface.

_SOLIDEDIT -> 'Face' -> 'Delete'
