Simple sweep to form threads is unable to process?

Here is an attempt at what should be a simple process to sweep an M6 thread (60 degress, 1 mm pitch, 4.773 minor male thread diameter).  The cutting object does not seem to be able to sweep across the helix path despite my efforts.

Any ideas out there?

The cutting object intersected itself in each turn, causing the error.  Inventor is also more appropriate for modeling threads than AutoCAD.
