SHX fonts converting to TXT

I am having a problem where my SHX font is reverting to TXT. It only happens in some of my drawings some of the time and I cannot find a way to fix it. I go into the font manager and the right SHX is assigned to the text style but it keeps showing up as TXT. I am running AutoCAD 2016 on Windows 10.

Your problem sounds like a SHX file is missing or damaged and is therefore getting substituted. Can you open your text Style Manager window and take a screenshot of a couple of the styles that are exhibiting this problem? Yellow triangles next to the style indicate that a font is missing from your system or that it is damaged.

Open STYLE command: look for text styles with a yellow triangle next to the font name, these are missing. Are those the txt ones on screen that you see?
