shx file not loaded in AutoCAD

I added two shx files to my FONTS file.  I have completed everything that was recommended below and checked the SUPPORT FILE PATH.  I still cannot see the shx files that I added in the text style.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi art.a.tecture,

What fonts are you trying to install? Can you attach them here so I can see if they will load in my system? Please also show me the path you are using. Is this a unique font folder or the default one?

What operating system are you on and which version of AutoCAD?

Please also attach a sample drawing.

I have attached the two font styles.   This is not a default.  I have left my default font to the original simplex font.   I am using AutoCAD 2016 with Windows 10.

Hi @art.a.tecture,

I tried viewing the fonts using SHX Viewer and there is no content in them so i  am guessing the fonts might be damaged.

They certainly don't work for me. Where did they come from? Can you obtain new copies?

I downloaded them from the internet.  I will try to get new copies.  Can you recommend an shx viewer for me so that I can check them?

I can confirm your two SHX files are damaged beyond repair: I have those fonts (can't share them) and mine work just fine in AUtoCAD.

I have tried to download some new Archstyl.shx  and archisel.shx fonts.  I can see them on the text list in the TEXT STYLE window, but they come up looking like simplex.shx.  I am going to guess these are corrupted too??

Okay - got it!! I had to go back in the support file and get rid of the old damaged files too.
