hy,

in the publish command the sheetnames are already pre-defined.

is it possible to remove the prefix of the drawing name (i want to sheets to have the same name as my layout tabs, without the name of the drawing)

thanks a lot already

Hi,

yes it could be from the same publish dialog. just uncheck, "Prefix sheet title with file name". remove all the model and layouts then press Add button.

Either edit the names manually under SHEETNAME in PUBLISH (either select and right-click to rename, or click on each with two slow left-clicks) then save the list for reuse, or use SHEETSET MANAGER where you name your sheets ahead of time, then PUBLISH from there.

wow,

thanks.

I'm not happy with that solution 😞

figured out that solution myself already, but no offence...

where is the checkbox Imadhabash is talking about?

If it was in previous releases, it should definately come back

As I mention it to you. Press the add button to add the layouts or models that you need which you will find the small box down there and as shown in my previous post.

Your suggestion is all very well but what if i am publishing from the sheet set manager !!! ? how do i overcome the same issue ? as the whole point is that you can publish the drawing set (populate the publish box) in the sheet set manager & not have to add them in from some folder on a server.

Is there not a variable that controls this ? as i dont wish to rename my sheets I just want to be able to publish the layout name full stop.
