Sheet set manager Page Set Up

I currently have sheets on my sheet set manager .dst file. I know that if I change the names of the tabs of my drawings, the link will be broken. What if I only changed the Page Set Up manager of one specific tab from DWG TO PDF to AutoCAD PDF (shown below)? Will it break the link to the sheet set manager too?

I also tried to go to Page Set Up under Sheet Set Manager and I am getting this error.

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to modify the page set up for all sheets within the sheet set without having to open each dwg/each layout tab.

Thank you!

The easiest way is to not worry about what layout setting each layout has. Just use page setup manager to create a new page setup in one drawing with all your plot settings in it. Now use the PUBLISH command and select all the drawings you want to plot. Highlight all the drawings in the list and pick the down arrow that appears under the page setup section. Pick import then go pick the drawing you just created the page setup in. Now select the imported setup and it will be applied to every highlighted drawing. Hit that publish button and away you go.

If you want to rename layouts that are in a sheet set instead of trying to rename the tab go to the sheet set manager and right click on the sheet and choose rename and renumber. Then in the dialog box in the lower left corner check the box to Rename layout to match Sheet Title and then change the sheet title in the dialog and the tab will update to match it.

Also changing the page setup won't break the link

I see that it works when I have the .dwg file open for a specific subset. My only problem is that I have multiple subsets with sheets housed in different .dwg files. Those subset layout sheets are all combined in my sheet set, so I am unable to use Publish command to plot all sheets simultaneously, but I am able to when I use the sheet set.

What about changing the page set up for each sheet under the sheet set? what if the sheets are in different .dwg files?

The layouts can have different page setups in every tab and all dwgs. Are you printing to a PDF or to a printer?

To a PDF.
Yes, so now I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to change all of them at the same time (if the layout sheets are in different .dwg files)

Right click on the sheet set name and go to publish > manage page setups and create a page setup. Then to publish all the sheets with that one page setup right click and go to publish > publish using page setup overrides and select the page setup you created.

I tried the Publish>Manage Page Setups
but I was getting an error that said:

"The file required to complete this action was not found. You must select a file for Page Setup Override storage to complete this action."

I was stuck here.
