Hi,

Any ideas to get dst file to convert or open in project navigator(apj), we have received dst file (sheet set manager) form outside and want work on this project, unfortunately we are not familiar with sheet set manager, any leads to get on this

Appreciated any help

Thanks

Any reason you all don't wish to try using SSM? It'snot rocket science, it's just a decent way to manage paperspace layouts in dozens of DWG files.

Does the file sender expect you to use SSM as part of your collaboration with them? They may not appreciate you deviating if so.

Thank you for your response, just to clarify that, we do not have previous work experience in ssm, we have been working project navigator since more than 10yrs+, for example, just opened one drawing in ssm we received, found that, they are linked more than 30+xref in a single drawing, In project navigator, its easy to manage, with just drag the xref drg elements, it will automatically place on the original coordinates, in ssm we need manually attach each drgs, I may be new on this platform,

SSM is plain AutoCAD's answer to Project Navigator in your vertical version of AutoCAD: you and the file sender need to talk about this and whether they want you to break their carefully crafted (and painfully set up) SSM or if you are contractually obligated to abide by that requirement, or if you can do your own thing.

AFAIK there is no method to migrate one into the other in either direction.
