Shaded visual style enabled in Layout mode

Hi,

I am working in Layout mode and it seems Shaded visual style is enabled, this condition causes that line weights are plotted wrong. I tryed to change to Wireframe style but AutoCAD shows the message:

Unknown command "2DWIREFRAME".

Please notice that, I am NOT working with Viewports. I am using Base View functions.

Thanks

Hi @momacoo,

Thank you for posting. It looks like you are working in AutoCAD Mechanical.  Welcome to the Community!

The Visual Styles panel under the View tab only applies to Model space and Viewports. Viewbase view visual styles are available in the Drawing Views Editor tab:

  1. Select the viewbase view.
  2. In the Active Layout tab, select the Edit View button from the Edit panel.
  3. When the Drawing Views Editor tab opens, click the view in the Appearance panel.
  4. The view style can be selected from those available in the list.

Steps 1-2

Steps 3-4

Hi @momacoo,

I am sorry to hear that, 2018 also works for me, so it might be a damaged install or user profile. You could try a reset to defaults, repair, and/or reinstall.
