Shaded Signage

Hello,

Can I please ask for help about the attached PDF file. I have got this file from an outsource and wanted to know how have they decreased the transparency of some signage. It is a good way in my field to show that there is existing signage (a bit transparent one). I hope to get a favourable answer to my question.

Layers themselves have Transparency, or objects themselves have transparency. It could be one or the other or a mix of the two.

Thanks for your reply. However, I have tried to create a new layer with 50% transparency and tried to move the object in that layer but the object did not fade. I have attached a .dwg file and a sign in it if you could help me to fade it. Thanks

I exploded the block then I could make them transparent.

Or edit the block and make the contents transparent

It could work for a simple block but for a complex block or if I am using more multiple blocks, it would take a lot of time to make the contents transparent. Anyways, thanks for your help. Cheers
