Set default array settings

Hi,

Is there an easy way to set up some default settings for an rectangular array?

Now the default is 4 columns and 3 rows with a spacing that doesn't make any sense.

Most of the times I just want 1 row with itemspacing 100. The amount of colomns doesn't really matter since I can stretch it using the blue arrow, but 10 for standard would be nice.

I know I can use the -arrow command because then it will ask me (after choosing for rectangular) how many rows and colums I want, and also the spacing, but then its making an 'exploded' array.

Thanks,

Jeroen

Too bad it's not a setting that I just couldn't find, but I was already expecting a reply with a LISP solution.

I'm totaly unaware with LISP, but I guess they can help me out. Thanks for the reply.

Yes!

The easiest way to go about this would be to setup a macro command. This video explains how to set one of those up:

Then you would input:
^C^C_ARRAY;R;R;1;100;0;X;

Drag this command onto your favorite toolbar or palette.
