Sequencing numbers in bubbles

Not applicable

My (non-CAD) manager asked me a question and I can't think of a good answer.

Anyways, I have to place bubbles all over my drawing to label part number call outs. My (non-CAD) manager however is suggesting that it'd be faster to use our PDF editor to put these on as it'll auto-sequence the bubble you put on your drawings. Where as in autoCAD I have to count out the numbers as I go and possibly mess up... Does AutoCAD have this built in somewhere that I failed to see?

Currently I'm using Multi-leaders with the circle block. But if theres something different available, I'm willing to switch over to... I really don't want to edit things in a PDF editor when everything can be edited and done in AutoCAD.
