Selection Preview Issues

I'm sure this is just an easy setting somewhere but I can't figure it out. I have a Tech that suddenly had any selections she had start appearing like the first picture below with all the nodes highlighted. Before it would just select everything like the second picture. It doesn't affect how she works but I'm very curious as to which variable or whatever changed. Anyone have any ideas?

Please provide us the AutoCAD version you're using.

Also, post a drawing containing the two dynamic blocks for all to troubleshoot.

Set Selection Preview: 

SELECTIONPREVIEW 

Try changing the value to see which setting provides the desired behavior:

• 0: No selection preview
• 1: Highlight objects, similar to your second picture
• 2: Highlight objects and display grips and edges, similar to your first picture

@jayhar  I had tried that one. It's not it.

@Kent1Cooper They aren't actually grips, just dots. They look more like spline dots.

Seems to have fixed itself on her computer after the morning though so I don't know what's going on.

PC restarts are always a good first step to remove odd behavior in any software: that was probably it.

Hello @Andrew.Pilon 

This is a bug in AutoCAD 2023 and 2024 which is fixed in the recent update 2023.1.4 and 2024.1. Please update AutoCAD to fix this issue.
