I just noticed that Selection Cycling has stopped working in my model space. I have the Selection Cycling Variable set at "2" and it is turned on. Now, when I click on overlapping items though, it doesn't indicate that there are multiple items in that space or allow me to choose from the list.

I'm not sure when this stopped working so I'm having trouble going back and finding what setting may have tanked this. When I open another similar file, the Selection Cycling tool works. I've tried everything I can think of. Totally stumped.

Hi,

Looks like there is something wrong in the drawing where you have troubles with selection cycling.
Can you post the problem drawing here?

I believe some have expierenced a similar problem when selection preview was disableded (or enabled). I might try playing with that and see if it makes a difference.

But SELECTIONPREVIEW is System wide variable, so if it is disabled it should affect all drawings
But OP wrote: "When I open another similar file, the Selection Cycling tool works." So in another DWG selection cycling works and SELECTIONPREVIEW couldn't be the case of the issue.

Re-Booting AutoCAD actually did the trick. I had multiple drawings open at the time and it was only one where selection cycling wouldn't work no matter what I did. Opening that same drawing up (even saved during the time I was experiencing a problem) once AutoCAD was re-booted solved the problem. Odd.

Good afternoon,

I am trying out AutoCAD for Mac 2017. And I have an issue with selection cycling. I have already turned it on (SELECTIONCYCLING=2), yet nothing happens. I would gladly appreciate it if anyone can help me resolve this issue.

Thanks
