Selection box malfunction

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello, is there a way to fix: selection box not able to select objects that are not visible in viewport

for example one might select one part of drawing and than pan to the next part during the selection but objects that fall out of the viewport boundary are not to be selected.

That is minor problem I guess but it would be nice to get that resolved (AutoCAD 2015LT).

Thanks upfront

In post one, you said "select one part of drawing and than pan"
But that is not what you're doing in your animated GIF.
You are selecting a window, then panning, then completing the selection.
That is different.

If you complete the selection before you pan, it works fine. Or at least it does for me here in R2016.

Yes, well again I might be not precise enough the first time.

Thanks for interest in subject anyway, because that is exactly what bugs me, this solution in selection tool.

I thought it might be futile to mention it but this solution is pretty weird and maybe there is command to select in one motion (with panning) the actual selection. It's pretty much me being picky I guess.
