Scroll wheel increments , make smoother?

I have my zoomfactor set to where i am comfortable with 90% zoom in cad. There is the 10% of the time where I would like more control of the zoom than what its set to and each notch in turning the scroll wheel on the mouse is either to much or not enough. Is there a way to smooth this out to get a finer zoom action?
