screen flips from black to white when zooming in on small objects

When I zoom in on small scale objects in my drawing, the screen background becomes white, then black, then white and so on.  I've included a crude cellphone video of my screen as I don't have a screen recorder and don't trust the freebies😂

@kdacostaZZD8D Your video card is choking in AutoCAD: share with us screenshots of your ABOUT and GRAPHICSCONFIG commands pop-ups please.

I've attached those here, but this is the only drawings where this happens.  Even heavier drawings do not have this issue.

The ABOUT popup is very long.  What piece of information are you after?

Thanks for the screenshots@kdacostaZZD8D , exactly what is needed. Your video card is indeed blown away by AutoCAD.

If you think the problem is only this one single file, then just fix it (starting with any XREFs first), see highlighted sections here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Recove...

If that doesn't help:

1) Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD2023.
2) Turn off LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING variables.

Let us know if you are still having issues.

unfortunately none of this works.  So I guess I should upgrade my graphics card?  This is an area I know nothing about... if there are suggestions, I'd be happy to hear.

I figured it out.  Once I shrunk the giant text headings I had (FLOOR PLANS, SECTION DETIALS ETC.), the drawing performs as intended!

What visual style are you using? If you are not in 2D wireframe try changing that.
