I dont know what to do? I want to make design center sheet. but even with symbol 1:1 scale and 1;1 scale the blocks are tiny? 1:1 sheet....ugh.

This is past conversation on You Tube.
Bummer, Ok, Im working on making a sheet to put into design center/blocks.I have several made from the old sheets. Is there a way I can drop in template and they change to correct scale. I read on forum about using user references, options. But I'm using 2017 so I cant find those options. It sound like that is what I can do.... Thanks 🙂

I have starting working at new company and all sheets are different in scale the drawing. I have set up my drawing template 1:1 I am to set up standards so all sheets the same size. I want to change all sheets, made previously into correct scale. to much to each object at a time. Is there a way to copy the drawing/model space into my template and correct the scale? Or is there a way to change the scale on whole drawing to 1:1?

Post your drawing here, it is the easiest way to trouble shoot something like this.

You will see some symbols that I had taken from other drawings and from tool palette that are huge, also now that I messed with some settings at bottom of tool bar right corner my model space in paper space is not working.

I see one solenoid symbol that is larger than the others, you would have to go into the block editor and scale everything down so rather than 12 units across it would be 1 unit across, as an example.  Otherwise I can go to Design Center and drag and drop the symbols into a 1:1 viewport and they look like the correct size.

What does "paper space not working" mean exactly?  What are you trying to do and what would you normally expect to happen?

Sorry didn't get back to you. Was only working half day from home. I havent tried the scaling suggestion yet. But as far as the paper space.

When I'm in paper space and then change to model space I cant zoom in or out to fit the page. I did mess with the choices at the bottom right corner of the tool bar maybe I changed something I shouldnt have. Need help asap.

Thanks

Luana

How about unlock the viewport so it can be zoomed?

ok that worked, I went into my dwt template, to check if there was something wrong in it? so I copy a drawing into model space and the drawing popped on paper space before I made veiwport that wont zoom in or out. So I cant fix as we did the previous situation.

If it automatically make a viewport when a new layout is created, in OPTIONS you can turn it OFF.

You won't see it until you click inside the VP and activate it or click on the VP itself.
