Scaling XREFs by 1000x affects linetype scale

Hello,

I have had an issue with xref scaling for a while and was hoping someone would be able to point me in the right direction.

I need to show road markings with linetypes that don't change size based on the scale or on the fact that the xref is scaled up. Our company uses mm, but the road marking design software we use is in metres - to counteract this I load in the road markings xref and scale up by 1000. This seems to cause issues with the LT scale.

The only fix I have found for this is changing the LTSCALE in the master file to 4 (when at 1:250) however, this isn't an appropriate workaround because I don't want to alter other linetype scales within the master drawing - for example drainage which needs to keep a specific spacing no matter the scale.

I have attached an etransmit of MASTER if you would like to look into the files

Thanks,

Alfie

To keep the lines at a specific spacing no matter the scale, in Linetype Manager check the "Use paper space units for scaling" option.

@acooper8N92F LTSCALE, PSLTSCALE, MSLTSCALE and CELTSCALE are all the variables that affect your linetypes, explore them in HELP: start with the default settings listed there then experiment.

Don't forget to REGENALL to see the settings you changed go into effect.

Thank you for your suggestion, however both drawings already have this box checked.

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately I have tried altering all 4 of these variables for hours before posting this, I'm sure it's a fairly simple solution but I'm really struggling to find it!
