Same line length for different units

I changed the units to meters and then drew a line. i clicked on a point, entered 10 and then enter.

Now i changed the units to millimeters and then drew a line entering 10 but it drew the line having same length as previous one. How to solve this problem?

Hi,

Changing the UNITS in a dwg-file does only describe "distances in the drawing have to be understood in Meter" (or what ever setting you have selected).

Changing the UNITS does not influence your coordinate input.

If you want to change your geometry size when you change your UNITS setting you can use command -DWGUNITS ... this command gives you the chance to scale the existing geometry. But take care, if you have already created layouts with viewports and then use the scale option in the -DWGUNITS command you'll need to update your layouts too.
