Hi,

Why is my plot rotating 90 degrees clockwise?

These all look good. I wonder if my acad to pdf file is screwed up?

Thank You for taking the time to do this!

Thank you Paul! I saw something online that said in settings (which is actually preferences) that you can cjange Acrobats rotation to off. But I don't see it.

Hi Kent,

I don't have those bleed paper sizes for 11 x 17. I understand what your saying about flipping the numbers.

When I batch plot there is an option to use page layouts as saved. But I don't have those "bleed" options you have if I use the microsoft printer.

My batch plot comes out in the right orientation, but does not look good. Yes my preview for single plots is great. There is no preview that I see for batch plot.

There's no setting since that Adobe PDF printer device works perfectly as is with all other applications in Windows.

The issue is that the Adobe PDF built in paper sizes are designed for Portrait orientation.

So if you want a Tabloid size to give you Landscape orientation then you'll have to add this as a custom page.

So try this:

First close AutoCAD

Open your Windows Printer folder

Right mouse click on Adobe PDF printer

Select Printing Preferences

On the Adobe PDF Settings tab next to Adobe PDF Page drop down and select Tabloid

Then select Add button

Note that by default Width is smaller dimension & Height is the longer dimension which is setup for Portrait

For Paper Name enter 17 x 11

Change the Width to 17.0

Change the Height to 11.0

and click Add/Modify

Now when you drop down the Paper Size list you'll see at the top the added paper size:

Click OK to dismiss this window

Now launch AutoCAD, open your drawing & enter the PLOT command

With the Adobe PDF printer selected under Paper size drop down, scroll down this list & you should now see the 17 x 11 paper selection you added

Right away you'll see the preview change in orientation:

Complete your plot and the orientation now will be Landscape as attached pdf.
